Eliminate Your Debt And Renew Your Life!
Frequently Asked Questions:
#1. Who is qualified for our program?
Our debt settlement program is designed for people facing financial HARDSHIP. This means people who are late on paying their debts and are facing a possible bankruptcy.
2. Who is NOT qualified for our program?
We do not advocate that any person default on their debts. This program is not designed to negotiate a debt settlement for people who have reasonable means to pay off their debts. If you have the ability to pay your debts in the normal fashion, by paying minimum payments, then you should honor your debts.
3. How do you apply?
a. Contact Me 623-570-1310.
b. Write down who your creditors are, account numbers, amounts owed and how much you are paying each creditor each month. You must have at least 10,000 of debt. This includes credit cards, personal loans, and medical bills. We will consider any repossessions of home and cars as well.
4. How do you settle my debts?
You will be asked to put aside and save a set amount of money on a monthly basis in a escrow account which we will help you set up. The amount of money that you will need to set aside will be determined in your initial analysis based on total amount of debt owed. The amount that you have to set aside is normally about 50% to 60% of what you pay now just to make your minimum payments.
5. Who can join our program?
This program is only for people who:
1) Have a financial hardship.
2) Are slow paying and are paying late fees.
3) Have high interest rates.
4) Are considering bankruptcy as an option.
Examples of a hardship: loss of income, medical emergency, death of a member of the household who provided financial assistance, or a divorce.
6. Is bankruptcy a better option for me?
Bankruptcy should always be your last choice. In some cases you have no choice, but to file for bankruptcy will have a very long lasting affect on you in the future. Give a call and we will review your situation with you.
7. Does Debt Settlement have a negative impact on my credit?
YES and NO. Your credit score will decline due to entering this program. However, how much it will decline depends on your original circumstances. If you have maxed out credit cards and credit lines, late payments, slow payments, high interest rates, or non-payments the damage has already been done. As debt is settled, your credit reports will show that you have a zero balance on these account and with less debt your score will improve. We also help you with credit repair after completing your debt settlement program.
Once your accounts are settled, the settlement is reported to the credit bureaus. Settled accounts are positive compared to unresolved delinquent debts or bankruptcy. After all the debts have been settled and paid, the credit score should begin to improve since the negative debt has been resolved. A high credit score is desirable to have, but if you have a financial hardship and are unable to pay your debts, then you need to look at your options.
8. Can I still use my credit cards?
NO. You must stop using your cards. We are unable to help you eliminate your debt if you continue to use your credit cards. Note: You can elect to keep out a credit card and continue to use that card but you must keep it current.
9. What will I pay for your services?
We have a most competitive fee which is calculated based on the total amount of debt that an individual brings into the debt settlement program. With our fee included, you typically pay less than half of what your minimum payments would cost you on a monthly basis. Additionally, you are getting out of debt faster and saving approximately 50% of what you owe.
10. Can I be sued?
YES. Your creditors certainly have the right to sue to recover their money. Usually the purpose of the lawsuit is to force a settlement on the matter. In our experience, most creditors would rather not go to the expense of suing and simply try to negotiate a settlement. For a company to sue an individual, this is another added expense which they do not want to aquire.
11. Can Debt Settlement Solutions stop my creditors from calling?
NO/Yes. Your original creditors have every right to try and contact you in order to collect a debt. However, we have been successful in eliminating most harassing telephone calls. If your account is in collections; collections agencies have to adhere to the FDCPA Guidelines. Collection agencies Do Not have the right to call and harass you. We also provide you with a device which you put onto your phone line which allows you to transfer the incoming calls to our company.
12. Can creditors garnish my wages?
YES, however this can be a long process for the creditors. The creditor first has to sue you, successfully obtain a judgment, and then file for a garnishment action. In most cases, our negotiators will be able to work out an arrangement with them due to your financial hardship and lack of money to garnish.
